### Matching

Matching Mode requires you to match the Response signal to the Question signal.

### Matching from Memory

Matching from Memory is the same as Matching, except you can only hear the Question signal once. Matching is the easiest mode, however, Matching from Memory adds difficulty.

### Return to Flat

Return to Flat requires you to match the Response signal to the Bypass signal, by applying the opposite equalization to that which has been applied to the Response signal. Return to Flat can only be selected for Shelving Filters and Parametric Equalizers.

### Return to Flat from Memory

Return to Flat from Memory is the same as Return to Flat, except you can only hear the Question signal once. Return to Flat from memory can only be selected for Shelving Filters and Parametric Equalizers.

### Absolute Identification

Absolute Identification requires you to identify the parameters of the equalization applied to the Question signal without hearing the Response signal.

Absolute Identification is the most difficult mode as you cannot hear your estimated parameters.
